There’s been a shooting in my hometown, just the other day. There’s been a shooting in my hometown, what else can I say? There’s been a shooting in my hometown, it’s made me wanna stay away. When I picked up that phone and made that call home, I wished my mom would answer and say… Baby we’re all right, there’s no worries tonight, but damn that wasn’t the case… There’s been a shooting in my hometown, just like any another day. There’s been a shooting in my hometown, I hope them folks are okay. There’s been a shooting in my hometown, now people look down and pray. When I picked up that phone and made that call home, I wished my mom would answer and say… Baby we’re all right, there’s no worries tonight, but damn that wasn’t the case… She said things ain’t changed and it’s getting ugly. We live on a shooting range and I’m alive because I’m lucky. Most of our neighbors are blind deff and dumb. I’m moving far away and telling no one where I’m from. There’s been a shooting in my hometown, and people don’t know who to blame. There’s been a shooting in my hometown, and things just aint the same. Peace is what I want but I don’t know if I’ll see the day.

People seem to talk in funny ways. Saying things like “these are our final days.” One could say that is correct. But I’m not one to place bets. We are changing our ways. We are coming of age. People look back, back in time. When we’re gone earth will be just fine. I’m not one for conspiracy. Excuse me waiter, can I change my order please? How bout the double-bacon with a little extra cheese? What were we talking about, whats on t.v.? We are changing our ways. We are coming of age. People look back, back in time. When we’re gone earth will be just fine. Give me the check and a pen I have to leave. Going to head to a show you you would not believe. Enjoy your whisky and the rest of your night. It's just about done I'm sure we'll be all right.

Robot revamp no guilty pleasures. Wall to wall things, no ceilings, nice wheather. Looking out for deals, half price Get a wow, try this at home with no ice. Bare-brick vaults with unprotected shoppers. Done in a sec, gone in a flash, your favorite offers. What you’ve been waiting for, fantastic loan rates. A life coach, life-break a fairwell to boxing great. A read a day keeps the madness at bay. All mouths on mute on the subway. Who sings when they’re losing? Who even plays? This clockwork faded face game. A topical happening with some you and I. Fingers on the pulse we called the leader a liar. Alerted of a snowball effect. Poor parents run faster from the face of regret. I was born there you was born here. Another tango journey discovered over a beer. Bills, Christmas, a signed baseball bat. An awkward tea break and mindless chit chat. A read a day keeps the madness at bay. All mouths on mute on the subway. Who sings when they’re losing? Who even plays? This clockwork faded face game.

The blind leading the blind. Welcome to modern times. Give me, give me, give me, give me more. Free credit to the biggest store. Buy it all for a glimpse of hope. Who else thinks it’s a joke? It’s an open book that won’t close. They say that’s the way it goes. Right. Left. Right. Stuck, in old times. They want to fight for it all, I hope they get none. No one has won. I'd rather watch it fall, and hear you say it’s my fault. You can really live the dream. I’ve seen everything. You can pour terror down my, drained and crooked spine. My smile screams loud, when we're no longer proud.

about

Los and the Deadlines London, UK

The seedy underbelly of any major city spawns some of the most depraved and morally reprehensible bastards that even the dregs of civilization look down upon. These cretins walk amongst us, they ask you for money, they serve you drinks, they file your taxes, and in this case; they formed a band. ... more
